A headache is usually defined as a dull yet steady pain in the head and neck which may last from several minutes to a number of days. Severe headaches may or may not be a migraine headache but one should consult a licensed health care practitioner to be sure.

Hepatitis specifically refers to any inflammation of the liver and may be caused by other debilitating illnesses (mononucleosis for one) or infection by any number of viral or bacterial pathogens. Generally, hepatitis is most commonly caused by one of three common viruses: the hepatitis A virus, the hepatitis B virus, and the hepatitis C virus, the latter being the most dangerous.
